A rant and some blurbs about art....

I love anything that has to do with dragonflies.I made this little one out of a blend of clay and then experimented with her dragonfly wings.These wings are a little harder to pull off because of the placement of the back piece.I am thinking I am going to try bigger ones,they are super fun to make . I said I would have the tutorial up, but I have not had the time I thought I would.The spawn are out of school and with a pool, the internet and all the crap they have...... they can't seem to entertain themselves.I have yet to master how the women that I admire out in blog land keep up with ...life outside the world that seems to be revolving around spawn!

I remember when I was little I found ways to keep myself busy...my backyard was my wonderland and there was nothing like going hunting for snakes and running through the creek and steppin on skunk cabbage.I did not by any means beg to be entertained 24/7.My favorite comedian Luis CK I think said it best in his stand up routine when he was going on about how spoiled and impatient this generation is...lol

Tomorrow I am taking the kids to lounge out in the sun and do some kayaking.I am hoping when we get back they will be all pooped out and I can post a video and get some pictures up.

Baby fairy

Hi everyone!This is something a little different for me,baby fairys! I just love creating them.They are the size of a silver dollar and have human hair.This is the first one I have done but I have a few on the work table right now as well as baby mermaids...
